We are in search of an experienced manager of eCommerce Marketing to join our team! The ideal person will have experience with integrated social media strategies. You will collaborate with our new business development team on concepts & proposals for prospective clients and existing accounts.
Partners with cross-functional business teams to develop digital media strategy including SEM, SEO, Affiliate, Remarketing, Shopping Engines and other test channels.
Manages eCommerce digital agency relationship to maximize ROI across digital tactics.
Manages eCommerce digital marketing budget across tactics to achieve business goals.
Evaluates performance attribution model across channels and leads team to deliver against business goals.
Communicates campaign results & recommendations to senior management.
Stays abreast of emerging eCommerce marketing opportunities and innovative ideas.
Manage staff and develop them for future growth within the department and organization. Coach staff on performance and professional development issues. Motivate staff to achieve efficiency and productivity.
Be a strategic advisor and proactive manager that builds strong client relationships and sets integrated strategic social media plans; constantly assess the existing and future social media opportunities for our clients; this includes the ability to say “no” diplomatically if necessary.
Navigate client needs, objectives and challenges by continually selling/positioning our agency’s strategic business value
Provide thought leadership and maintain a high level of ‘digital curiosity’ on strategies and marketplace evolution trends across the digital landscape; read industry forecasts and analysis and staying on top of trends to identify what social media marketing strategies should be considered and when to develop a plan for upselling.
Flawlessly lead implementation of integrated social media marketing plan and collaborate with internal departments (marketing operations, media, analytics, technology) through the setting of clear business priorities and objectives.
Manage agency resources with profitability and efficiency in mind.
Understand the levers of profitability and how to affect them; hold P&L accountability across the client programs you manage.
Demonstrate experience understanding the client’s business and your associated goals for the quarter or year.
Maintain a current knowledge of digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and the ability to apply those to an assigned business.
Creative eye for engaging ad tactics, strategies & placements.
Deep understanding of all social advertising platform tools, mechanisms, nuances and best practices..
Minimum 5 years marketing experience
At least 4 years’ experience in an agency or consultancy environment a must
Proven relationship building skills and demonstrated ability to sell an idea to client accounts
Highly analytical and strong knowledge of digital marketing & web analytic platforms such as Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Adobe, Facebook and other marketing analytics platforms
Ability to travel preferred
